These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website for Dr. Shahed Ahmad, Medicine Specialist and Consultant, Medicine. By using the website, creating an account, sending a message, or requesting an appointment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
2. Purpose of the website
The website provides general information about the doctor, chambers, consultation schedules, health-education content, contact facilities, and an online appointment-request service. Website content is provided for general information and education. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, treatment plan, or substitute for an examination by a qualified health professional.
3. Emergencies
Do not use this website, its contact form, or its appointment form for a medical emergency. The website is not monitored as an emergency service. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service or go to the nearest emergency department without delay.
4. No doctor-patient relationship through website use
Browsing the website, watching a video, creating an account, sending a message, or submitting an appointment request does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship. A professional relationship begins only when Dr. Shahed Ahmad accepts the patient for consultation or care in an appropriate clinical setting.
5. Appointment requests
- An online submission is a request, not a guaranteed or confirmed appointment.
- An appointment is confirmed only when the practice or relevant chamber sends confirmation.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and select the correct patient, chamber, date, and time.
- Availability may change because of clinical duties, emergencies, hospital operations, holidays, or technical problems. The practice may reschedule or cancel a request when reasonably necessary.
- If you cannot attend, use the available cancellation function or contact the practice as early as possible.
- Repeated false bookings, impersonation, abusive submissions, or deliberate misuse may be rejected and may lead to account restriction.
6. Minors and persons needing assistance
A person under 18 should use the website only with a parent or legal guardian. A person submitting information or requesting an appointment for another individual confirms that they have authority to do so and that the information is accurate.
